In 1953, the Church of God began its ministry in the city of Portage, Indiana.
In that our vision is "to pastor our city, doing church as a team as as every member becomes a minister,"
through the years we have sought to take the full gospel message to our neighbors and friends. Only
eternity will reveal the number of souls that have been won to the Lord and influenced to serve God in the power of the
Holy Spirit through the various ministries of our church.
Since 1981, it has been our privilege to serve as the Senior Pastors of this great
New Testament church and to labor with our dedicated members in ministering to our Northwest Indiana communities
and to the body of Christ through anointed Pentecostal worship services, Christian education opportunities, adult and senior
adult fellowship times, and various youth and children's ministry programs.
